The Philly Half Marathon is a favorite of mine. It was my half PR for many years. It's a lovely course overall, hitting a bunch of different areas of the city. Great crowd support for much of it. All of the communication about the race is great. The wayfinding at the start of the race is great.

Tip: don't use the main entrance area on Ben Franklin where the line will be blocks long to get through security. Use the entrances closer to the art museum.
World class marathon vibes. Fun city. I'll be back.

This was a great half marathon! The course is relatively flat, there was a nice crowd along the way (for a half marathon), and it is a great mix of running through Philly to see the city, but also going out and through a nearby park for some more naturey scenery.
